TREKKING LEADING GROUP (TLG)

TASKS for  TREKKING LEADING GROUP (TLG)
We do not have strict borders in the project so most of things will be shaped better when you are here in Demre & Kaş
 smile emoticon
To give examples of TLG's responsibilities:
1- To list the equipments that each participant/partner should bring
(For ex; Particpants: Sleeping bag, mat, Partners: 1 tent, 1 camp stove, 2 headlamps, etc.)
2- To decide what to provide (food pax) for trekking days
(We will share a list with you and ask your comments about it)
3- To decide the criterias how to choose/form 4 different trekking groups(For example, each group with 1-2 first aider)
4- To inform participants about trekking paths and organize relevant group activities (We are going to share relevant pages of Kate Clow's Lycian Way Guide and maps)
5- To list the equipments that each trekking group should have with them.
More responsibilities might be added by TLG itself. So they are free to decide about own tasks but BoD and all participants might be helping whenever needed.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS (BoD)

What is Board of Directors? Who are included?

Board of Directors (BoD) is a structure that Lycian Pathfinders planned to implement in its approved project Creactive Lycian Youth.

BoD is made up of the leaders and participants from each partner and might have 8-9 members. These members might be Youth Trainers, Youth Workers or a participant attending its first project of this kind. You do not have to be a professional to join but must be eager to actively participate.

BoD is primarily responsible for designing activities before the project, leading them during the project and majorly responsible for the follow-up activities. But these are not only limited to Board of Directors. It is also BoD's duty to include all participants in the decision making and implementation during the project. BoD should find the ways and provide all participants active participation as its success will be voted at the end of the project by Vote of Confidence :)

For each main activity 1-2 BoD Members will be responsible and 1-2 participants might be co-operating with them in order to (i) improve their knowledge & experience about non-formal education, (ii) to be included in the decision making and implementation, (iii) have a chance to comment about the activity implemented and suggest ideas that might contribute a lot to the activity & project.

Vote of Confidence for Board of Directors

On the last days of the Creactive Lycian Youth Project, all participants are going to be voting for the Vote of Confidence to evaluate the success level of BoD. This Evaluation is not limited with Board of Directors also including the sessions if participants made enough critics or positively fostered them. Briefly if the participants were Active Citizens of Lycian Youth.

Participants will be provided Bullet Box and other extended concept of participation options.

Vote of Confidence is consisting of two voting steps to be explained later.
